Water Potability
Our Mission
This study implements water potability classification for detecting unsafe water using
different parameters such as pH level, turbidity, total dissolved solids and temperature in a
WSN-based drinking water classification system. The data provided using our proposed
system opens to opportunities in determining whether there is a need to perform water
treatment and/or water restoration from drinkable water sources.

This study will help provide people living in rural areas with an easy and effective
method of monitoring their water supply’s potability constantly. The system will only
require the user to observe the data in the base station as the classification of water potability
will be performed at the water source itself through the sensor nodes. With this, any problem
that may occur in the water source may be addressed sooner.
